A lot has changed in my life this year, especially since September.  I've said goodbye to past memories and old friends, as well as welcoming new memories and friends; I feel happier than I ever have before, more confident, and certainly more alive, even as another chapter of my life draws to a close.  I heard these words for the first time in the midst of all this change, and they spoke to me with such conviction that I've held onto them.  No one line could possibly describe me any better, and I look forward to what the next year brings as I continue growing as an author, artist, friend, and as a woman.
